With the holidays around the corner, we at The Weinstein Firm, LLC., have
compiled a list of the most dangerous toys of the holiday season. Parents
should be cautious when buying toys for their children this year, between
January 2015 and now, 19 toys have been recalled for safety defects in the US.
Below is a list of 10 of the most dangerous toys on the market today.
1.Warcraft Doomhammer – This plastic item has been reportedly causing people blunt force trauma injuries.
2.Peppa Pig’s Muddy Puddles Family – Reported choking hazards due to small parts.
3.Baby Magic Feed and Play Baby—The spoon included with the toy was could potentially be teethed and block
the air passage of a child. The toy has no warning displayed on it.
4.Flying Heros Superman Launcher – This toy can be held and then launched from the base of the launch point.
Using the pull cord, these toys spin and launch themselves into the air.
They have been recalled due to a risk of eye injuries.
5.Kid’s Time Baby Children’s Elephant Pillow – Large enough for your baby to snuggle, this cozy, warm pillow was designed
for your children to hold as they sleep. However, this toy has been reported
as a suffocation hazard.
6.The Good Dinosaur Galloping Butch – A character from the Disney Pixar movie, Galloping Butch is designed to
gallop just like in the movie. However, the tail of the toy is has been
known to cause puncture wounds.
7.Nerf Rival Apollo XV-700 Blaster – a Nerf gun designed to use small, round high-impact rounds, this gun is
spring loaded and blasts foam balls out at 30mps. There is a potential
for eye injuries due to speed and shape of the balls, but the toy comes
with no safety warning.
8.Banzai Bump N' Bounce Body Bumpers -- A set of two inflatable body suits, these are made for children to have
fun bumpin’ around. These have an increased chance of impact injuries.
9.Slimeball Slinger – the object of this toy is to shoot slime balls at the target, but these
slingshots can be shot with enough force that they could cause serious
10.Peppy Pups – Marketed as the dog that walks along with you, this stuffed, puppy rolls
around on wheels and your child can walk him along on the leash included.
Reports have indicated that the leash could be a choking hazard and the
product does not indicate a warning.
